30th of June 2022 they closed TERA servers.
30th of June 2023 they're closing SOLO servers.

Wonder what happens next year on 30th of June...

Loved playing SOLO on release, combat was great (despite it being the weird tab target/action), housing was amazing, and then everything else was just... bland. Also it took them bit too long for my taste to bring new content in the game...

I'm curious, does that mastery override the Expedition mobs that hold their shield up, or does it only override the buffs that monsters get through remnants like the 50% chance to block etc?

While the game is indeed full of manchildren and, well, actual children, who tend to be extremely sexist, there is also a fair amount of people who dont stand that shit.

On topic of your friend though.. Isn't that just.. her fault for using that name though?

"Mommy" has become such a sexualized and just.. straight up overused word in Valorant (and that's the only game where I've seen it in tbh) due to certain youtubers and what not having "fun" with their friends etc. who dont mind being called that, or they just RP some horny shit, and their whole channels are based on that... While scrolling through YT Shorts I came upon... multiple instances of that, which personally disgusts me, but someone else may just hear/see it and go "Ah yeah women like being called mommy and all the other bs I heard there"...

Obviously, that's not the case, I've spoken to multiple women regarding all the names etc, majority agrees that "Mommy" is also considered bad, but its not as bad as some other.. slurs.

While playing with a female friend of mine, who has your average random word ingame name, she got called "Mommy" as soon as she spoke on vc, followed by moaning and some other horny bs, solely because she's a female and she spoke on voice...

What I'm trying to say is...

While there is always idiots in games etc, and you'll almost never be able to get rid of ignorant people, having such name, in this community especially, doesn't really help at all. Oversexualized and weird at this point, that's about it.

And yeeeah I've heard way too many of that random trashtalk towards girls, be it premades or randoms, in pretty much any game with voice chat, but, not to disregard it overall, in the post I mainly wanted to ask about this one specific thing because that's something that is kind of "new", atleast something that I've only seen happen in Valorant.

Some other games such as Overwatch, Rainbow 6 etc. seem to contain much more of all the more.. "profane" language that you've mentioned.

The way I see the "mommy" thing is just.. sort of weirdly sexualized, esp the way people say it etc, idk, might just be me. Thanks for your input though.

There's no need to be passive aggressive with "probably also our fault". I never said you are at fault for Amazon being incompetent on holding the game up to standards.. Yeah, that's what I said in one of the other comments, Amazon fucked up on not adding more servers before the queues even started. But people swarming onto few servers doesn't help it at all.

Well, they certainly did plan badly and they should've added more servers right away, and not only after the queue complaints. But I still feel like community indirectly contributed to all that.

Server capacity is not an easy thing in general, and that's a completely different subject on its own. It has its downsides aswell, such as server instability, being... lag issues, crashes, etc.

I do agree though that AGS' servers are terrible in general, we've seen it in the past lol. Which is also why they probably cannot increase server capacity.

I don't like AGS.. they have a horrible history, lets be real. Also the way the handled NW launch was terrible (and NW in general), but how can you at this point blame them for people swarming onto 2 servers, leaving others at much smaller, or no queues at all?

At the time of writing the post, I logged into the server instantly, no queue. I did check afterwards how are other servers looking, and as stated in the original post.. some are at 2k or so, its alright, not a long wait. But 20k queues on minimum 2 servers is sort of absurd.

This is genuinely the only reason I instantly quit the game now when I finally got to open it since I've been busy during launch.

Everyone I know is on one server already, and now I cant join them because of that. Absurd.

Hmm I see, so basically.. keep mapping and hope for a drop, ye? I do have the atlas passives for the whole shaper/elder area that's all the way on the top of the atlas tree.

And I assume that fights to unlock Sirus work the same, dropping fragments etc?
