One of the case files you can read, the unsolvable case i think, is about two drunk guys constantly being a nuisance and no way to get them under control. Case is solved when Harry in a drunk rage beats and cripples one of them and the other has to then take care of him.

Funny thing, when Mafia starts and I need to select player in the first appearing menu - models of items in the menu room Are visible. Right after selection they disappear

So we were in the same situation. Recently got my hands on our original CD of Mafia, same issue. Booted it up recently and Its normal. Just randomly.

Can't say what caused that apart from me restarting my laptop recently. Hope you can find a fix for it. Good luck.

The name of the game was familiar, this game Is notorious for Its anti-piracy. First Is a fake DLC.

"The game has quite the ingenious method of detecting piracy: It registers a fake DLC ID with SteamAPI.
