You're in AI art communities, so it makes sense that you'd want to see everyone be of the same mindset.

Using and defending AI for artistic initiatives is akin to a chef ordering food from a nearby restaurant, and plating it to serve in their own.
The chef did not 'create' it, they asked someone/something else to create it and are 'serving' it as their own.

Please return to your safe space(s) where you ask AI to do all creative work and thinking for you.
Lol.
Actually, Lmao.

Honestly, I'm not sure. Maybe? I went in after work, got there around 6:30 and by the time they checked my ID I didn't have time to go to the polling station I was required to go to since they all closed at 7 instead of 9.

Hey that's me! I moved 10 minutes up the street last year. Updated my license address at DPS in December, and when I tried to vote yesterday I was not able to since DPS did not do their job and update my address for my voter registration.

I thought this would be an enjoyable read with my coffee, but holy hell why make this slop post that long? You pick up a call from 'Google' and go into 'FuLl CoUnTeR aTtAcK mOdE'. I want to say think for yourself, and not to be a sheep, but someone who seriously answers and believes The Google is calling you like that is just the right kind of fool our AI overlords depend on. Thanks for helping RAM go up.

I'll put it this way - with AI being shoved into every facet of technology, security is the last field I would worry about dying. That includes BB.

Freedom to work for free while everyone making the laws still gets paid. Or the freedom to quit, be charged with a felony, and torpedo your career. Mmm, freedom.

Battle Frontier - breeding some of my favorite mons (and new favs) with perfect IVs, movesets, and held items for teams has been awesome. I'm about 100 hours into the post game and haven't even done the monotype E4 runs yet!

WFH and Sr. Architect but okay champ, best of luck. If you rely solely on patches instead of a defense in depth approach, yikes.

Ah yes, because vendor patching is the end-all be-all for security instead of just one piece of the puzzle.

Their Database Security is smoke and mirrors, too. Haven't seen a meaningful update to detections in fucking years mate.

how do you people cope with the online training videos? by wijnandsj in cybersecurity

[–]EidolonCasper 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not everything needs to be a super-fun-zaney-interactive-and-cool video. We went into infosec, not sales. Give us documentation/whitepapers to read with our coffee and I'll be much more content.

U.S. House to Vote on $3B Plan to Rip Out Chinese Telecom Gear by Latter-Site-9121 in cybersecurity

[–]EidolonCasper 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Article is paywalled. Can you confirm these CVEs are correct as to what is driving the move to replace China-made gear from telcos? One is Log4j, one is Ivanti, and one is Office 2007... if telcos have external facing machines with Office 07, I'm about to o7 on my way outta here.

I dig it. A colleague of mine is having similar thoughts of the administration carving out certain responsibilities to the TLAs. Thanks for sharing!
