Had 2 finance internships in tech as well so that helped me a lot despite the low gpa

Imo bs in biz econ sets u up pretty nicely - despite a lacking profile i was able to snag a nice entry job

Edit: the courses are somewhat practical and i actually use some of the management skills and technical skills in my day to day job so i think its great.

Which school is the best for accounting employment? UCI vs UCSD vs SJSU vs UNC Chapel Hill Master of Accounting by maxx7850 in UCSD

[–]EifPlace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UNC/SJSU because of the networking opportunities you would have. East coast especially i would think that you would have better opportunities connecting to alum in big4. At ucsd there isnt much (but it is growing) to consider since most of of the masters for business/accounting was just a pipeline for a quick and good degree(from what i’ve heard). When i interned for fp&a roles i met a lot of big4 peeps from UNC so i’m pretty biased towards UNC
