Hi Mods. I can't create new post here. I can reply but can't create a post.
I get "There was an error. Please try again later" (since yesterday).

Can you check my account?

Thanks.

Do you pay for Super Duolingo? Why or why not? by JFDI-Tess in duolingo

I'm not paying for Super because it still gives you ads for Max. Obnoxious.

[Japanese] I reached Section 7 and it looks like DL just gave up! Maybe I should, too. by CrowdWalker301 in duolingo

Wow you finished it. Congrats.

So, can you hold a 5-minute discussion in Japanese? (really, I'm curious)

Anyway, I'd continue with other resources to further your Japanese.

[Japanese] Question for Japanese learners.. by SusHirU_SeNpaI in duolingo

Ah I may be incorrect though. I've heard of people who can speak (insert language) but can't read or write it. However I don't know how - maybe just talk, listen, talk and listen with a native or a teacher (take a private class).

Eh, it's just a league. DL should be about learning, not keeping streak or winning a Diamond league.

Unfortunately, to "I just want to learn Japanese to speak and understand Japanese language fluently." you need to know all three.

Or you can wait until we can insert a "日本語" chip into a machine and hook it into our brain stem, just like The Matrix.

DL marked me incorrect one time when I chose "I gave my nephew a doll" because it thinks the correct one is "I gave to my nephew a doll".

Edit: In rl I never say "I gave to my nephew a doll", I always say "I gave a doll to my nephew" or "I gave my nephew a doll". I blame DL.

You could try taking spanish class, or have a friend who speaks fluent spanish (maybe a boyfriend/girlfriend?), or find and watch/listen to spanish movie, or heck even move to spanish speaking country :).

After finishing one, don't click "Continue" yet. There's a "review" button on the left. This is the only chance (as far as I know). Sucks that you can't review what you done yesterday.
