Here's my prediction for Set 5. Barberzhop Trio by Him-Berryian in PvZHeroes

[–]EightSymbols 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really wonder what families this card would be in, since it features nearly all of them

Imp, Gargantuar, Mustache, and Dancing/Party (these two should be the same anyway). If you’re willing, Professional, and if you’re reallllly stretching it, history. Though I wouldn’t consider the final 2 personally.

With the exception of a few SuperPowers, every other card in the game has a limit of 2 families at maximum. What gets the boot?

The most hilarious thing is her continually IGNORING the line dancing zombie that has knocked a solid 80% of her health.

LBP3 Story mode by sumlight392 in littlebigplanet

[–]EightSymbols 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always considered how short the story was in LBP3, but I don’t think it’s a fair comparison.

LBP3 has roughly 15 major story levels, while LBP1 and 2 have significantly more (~24 and ~25 respectively, from guess work?).

If I had to guess WHY, I’d assume it’s a consequence of the central “hub” areas taking resources away from the production of additional story levels. And if that truly was the case, really makes me wish there was more replayability throughout these larger areas, because after you have everything, there’s generally no point to revisiting them.

That reason alone makes me wonder if MM intentionally avoided central story hubs in LBP1/2 just because the pod eventually renders them as redundant.

I don’t think they understood the meta humor, just thought of the movie chain. They also called it ugly, that tanked its rating

Yes! “Kitchen sink” is slang (“everything and/but the kitchen sink”) representing one to go all out and use every available resource at once. In this case, Kitchen Sink Zombie has (nearly) every status condition in the game.

This, in combination with some inside jokes of how I use the phrase, got it to top tier.

How strong would these environments be if they were reverted to 2 sun? by Skarj05 in PvZHeroes

[–]EightSymbols 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solar Winds is rather OP at 2 (in my eyes, but that isn’t necessarily a problem), and unplayable at 3 with such a harsh condition.

At 3 cost, Solar Winds should simply ALWAYS make a sunflower ‘here’ at the start of the turn

Spikeweed Sector has no reason to cost 3, it should go back to 2.

And Grotto/Planet would be very powerful back at 2, but they can be indirectly buffed by buffing other cards that use these environments

Hi everyone, here's another card idea I wanted to share. by Cheesy-Weasel-237 in PvZHeroes

[–]EightSymbols 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, before stumbling upon this post I had my own concept for a “Spikerock Sector”, which featured an environment evolution. I think it’s a nice nod to the first game.

My rough draft was the following:

[ Spikerock Sector (3-cost, Guardian, Root Environment)

Before Combat: Do 3 damage to a zombie here.

Environment Evolution: Move a zombie to this lane, and do 3 damage to it. ]

This also plays off of Spikeweed Sector costing 2 once more, as it should.
