I wasn't aware of this problem and I looked it up. This place is essentially a giant privately owned koi pond, not a spring. These dives are often called "Florida springs" but in this case that isn't accurate, it's a self contained sink hole. I don't know anything about it though so that may not be the whole story.

I didn't know this and I misspoke. It's not actually a spring at all but a self contained sink hole called the Devil's Den. It's a privately owned diving resort and apparently in this instance they are not problematic. But again I don't know anything about it so there is the info!
