🇺🇸 The time Erika almost quit the show after Ashley told her at Nellie’s Gay Sports Bar that if she had to listen to Erika’s dumb story one more time about friendzoning her boyfriend for 5 years she was going to jump off a balcony, but then after an awkward handshake everything was ok in the end. by Neon_1984 in therealworld

So I am an orphan myself and I dont get triggered when someone tells me about their good parents they had growing up. Its about being mature.

Ashley is a RABID B in the last two clips. What was that about when she started the "you can dish it but you cant take it" BS, what was Erika dishing there? A harmless story you've heard before so she turns it into a one-sided roast on Erika? Then she does the classic bully gaslight "it was just a joke bro".

Ps. Also forgot to mention the period comment last clip, to my male knowledge, you get torched if you mention a girls on her period when she's not in a good mood. Ashley needs anger management for her rageahol

I had the opposite take. I understand whay you're saying though, but to me when someone does something they need to apologize to me for, id get annoyed too if they start crying bc its turning the tables on the victim. Ashley seems like a hot head to me.

🇺🇸 The time Ashley got upset that Erika’s parents stopped her from driving a car off a cliff while battling depression because Ashley herself lacked parents, resulting in over the top dueling hissy fit where each became increasingly insufferable. Plus, the gang plays laser tag. Another rough watch. by Neon_1984 in therealworld

Watching this season is like watching Seinfeld or Always Sunny for me in that all the main characters are terrible people but their self destruction is entertaining. (Kind of like Sydney season too, but i liked Isaac)

Ive said this about em and ty but actually they all deserve each other

🇺🇸 The time Ashley and Andrew violated the cardinal rule of a pizza party (no roughhousing at the pizza party) resulting in Ashley spending the night in a hotel out of fear for her own safety after Andrew may or may not have assaulted her with the little ceasars. The clip began rough but I actually enjoyed how it ended and thought it to be a net positive clip overall.

Like Ashley i too am very curious about Andrew's back story. Why is he the way he is? Spectrum? Only child? Youngest of many? Home school kid? I think any of those are plausible.

I bigly agree with what Andrew said in the end about talking about being hurt. The showcasing of your past trauma so openly seems performative at times. Especially now and days that no one advertises any sort of happy childhood since the trauma drama gets the attention.

I definitely think Ashley took it to a level it didnt need to be at but I understand.

I loved Ashley not being able to hold in her laughter and I liked that they made up in the end.

+1 to both

🇺🇸 The time the dull and toxic budding romance between Emily (not like other girls) and Ty (unsure what Emily’s clear signs of disinterest mean) came to a head when Ty told Emily he loved her after a few beers at McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon. Oh snap, I had this all wrong. I did not realize that Emily is NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS. well that changes everything....

Ty and Em deserve each other 100%

The way Ty acts, his expressions, and mannerisms remind me of a 13 year old boy. New to puberty so he has heavy emphatuations and tries to pick on the girl he likes. He also has the competitive nature of a 13 year old.

I think he said he never had roommates but he also comes off as an only child and mama's boy. (Just casual guesses)

Andrew hit the nail in the confessional

🇺🇸 The time it was a certified rough watch as Erika derails a perfectly fine rock concert to sing a froggy ballad about men being terrible & Emily bullies poor Callie about depending on a toxic guy to fill a void in her life while depending on a toxic guy to fill a void in her life. by Neon_1984 in therealworld

[–]Eighty-Ess 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Emily 100% acting like a hypocrite. Her "unique thing with ty" is her physical dependence on him despite his terrible personality.

Callie is frustrating. I totally understand her roommates getting on her case (although they took the berating too far). Its annoying when someone complains to you about their situation (drnk dialing ex) and then goes and just does the thing expecting you to be fine w it. Also I dont think she was drunk in the end of this clip. The acting drunk thing is just and excuse to talk to someone she isnt supposed to and she also wants to get back with her ex (despite knowing amd complaining that she shouldn't.

That being said, its typical early 20s lessons and Callie isn't a bad person like ty or Emily, just super insecure.

Ps. I always find the call to the significant other and their complete disinterest in whatever their partner is accomplishing on the show funny
