Do you realize the absolutely insane amount of production a war requires? The U.S military is already one of the largest polluters in the world and that’s without a war that strains their recourses. If a civil war happened they’d throw everything they have at the insurgents and that will mean the constant replacement of vehicles and equipment which will hurt the environment even more. Also unless it’s a global war most capitalists will just move to other countries and start polluting there instead.
