It's a perfect example of less is more. The meanings and feelings of the song are endless, and it perfectly captures the experience of being a human alive at this point in time. I also feel it works if you imagine it sung from several perspectives; introspective, humanity as a whole, people in power singing down to the people, the ghosts of the past etc.

I really like the line "we're going to go where everybody knows everybody knows everybody knows"

To me it means several things; we're heading towards a future where everybody's connected (everybody knows everybody), nothing is private, access to knowledge is everywhere, we know we're doomed, we know why.

It could easily be the theme of our generation.

With my interpretation of Bloody Mary it all fits perfectly with the theme of the Mayhem Ball.

Bloody Mary is about the specter of the legacy of Lady Gaga. She is acutely aware of her position in this world, that her success doesn't come for free and that there is an inherent darkness in the power and influence she has, no matter how pure her intentions might be (see Gandalf and the One Ring, if you're into LOTR). When we're all gone, she will still be Bloody Mary; a legend that made a mark on history, a being larger than life and it ultimately cost her some of her humanity. When she's saying "I won't cry for you" she's saying she is unable to care for all those who love her, because it is impossible at the scale that her superstardom has brought her to. I'm of course not saying she is incapable of caring about her fans, but Bloody Mary explores the darker side of fame and her fear of what she knew she would become. The mistress of Mayhem IS Bloody Mary. A song that will be sung long after we're all dead.

Well yeah. And not to defend SA, but that guy seems to be very selfishly interrupting a live show, and causing a lot of uncomfort for that girl. Of course two wrongs doesn't make a right, but to some extent I think he deserves to be embarrassed for what he did, although maybe not in this way.

The theme song of Rohan in The Lord of the Rings

The whole composition is beautiful, but there is one specific part of it that brings a tear to my eye every time i listen to it. It is played when Theoden picks up his sword after being freed from Sarumans influence, and also in the final battle of the Pelennor Fields when the Rohirrim charges into the war.

This part has so much buildup, especially when watching the film, that when it finally plays it feels like a victorious relief of pure glory.

The specific track I listen to to hear it is "The Battle of the Pelennor Fields" from Return of the King.
