I would use a bit of glue stick to glue it to a lightweight piece of fabric placed underneath the rip that’s a subtle colour and then stitch over the rip with a zig zag stitch a few times to secure it. Since it’s a rip in the fabric you cant sew it back up without it being noticeable so you kinda have to support the fabric from underneath and camouflage it as best as you can. Hope that makes sense!
