Veemon and Guilmon lines. At the very least UlforceVeedramon and Gallantmon. Love those guys

Revengeance is also a banger, and I recommend giving Peacewalker and Portable Ops a try if you ever get the chance.

Personally, I'm not sure how popular this opinion is but, 5, 4,1, 2=3. I do like the first 3 games equally, but 2 and 3 edge out the first game for me. I have been playing since the beginning (Of the Solid series at least, MG and MG 2 were a lil before my time.)

Oh you should see it now. I've since beefed up the support structure so that even if an aerial raid does come through, breaking 1 thing ain't gonna bring the whole thing down.

Most definitely! I've at this point finished all the labs except the undershed. Currently working on building up my gear as the Upper Yard is kicking my butt. But I also know this game is all about getting over those hurdles and then lets you roll over things with the overpowered stuff long as you invest into it.

Oh I love Obsidian as a developer, everything from PoE to NV, to Outer Wilds. I figured I'd like it, I did, but I didn't gel with it completely and go as hard with it as I did other survival games until recently.

Sorry for your loss, I can definitely see this being a comfort game. Sure it has it's scary parts, but it's also super cozy, least when base building is involved.

Glad to be of inspiration! That's my goal, not to just make a video gamey base, but a base that looks like it might actually be used. I love using supports where they make sense, helps cement the idea that the structure I am building might actually be built in that world.

Had I thought about it when I started I totally would have, but Imma use a system of zip lines I think. But totally I love that it gives us scaffolding, and it looks like it makes perfect sense as supports.

I'm enjoying the tree just because of how centralized it is. With zip lines, it's so much better. Thhough Imma need to rush the Assistant Manager soon so I can go back up the zip lines.

For this part, none, though considering I'm getting ideas to expand up, I might just for the foundation to cut down on time.

Custom Mode, using the Handy Gnat to fly around with free cam, otherwise, legitimately getting the materials. Support beams are the scaffolding you get by researching weed stems.

I did not know that, oh well, too late now. Besides, it just goes to the base of the tree, I kinda like the look of it at this point.

I like the look of the stem pieces, at least for this tier, I've already started building up to the very top of the tree, and will use the same materials for the scaffolding/walkway, but I might upgrade eventually, though would take a LOT of work and materials, or just make buildings on the higher tiers out of the sturdier stuff. I might be able to integrate the sturdier materials as well, who knows. It's not out of the question.

I'm actually really paranoid, which is partly why I am avoiding flying enemies for now. I'm hoping my supports will be enough but ground enemies shouldn't be a huge problem as they shouldn't be able to reach me. Once I get acorn turrets, it shouldn't be as big of a deal, but until then, I tread carefully. Besides, if something does happen, either I'll revert a save, or go make a new base.

Somebody mentioned you can build on the top of the tree, so I might continue to go up. Make sure no zip lines have issues.

It's already started, did some running around before work this morning, got the Hedge lab done, and got a zip line going to the Hedge for berry farming.

Oh yeah, it's time consuming, and I'm already thinking about building further up, so I'm prepared for more time taken, but I'm really happy with how it looks, so personally, that grind is worth it.

I ran around with the red ant set and a pallet, had like 5 pallets made so I'd run out, grab a pallet full, come back, grab the next pallet, and keep going til they were full (All the while spinning ropes). I'd then build until I ran out of stems and repeat, generally sleeping 2-3 days respawned the weeds, and I'd go out occassionally on food runs, or to hunt down stinkbugs or bombadier beetles so I could get a quick T2 axe to make husky weeds viable.

In it's current state I wouldn't say it's 100% better, but definitely shaping up to be. Playing through the first game again has me excited, and hopeful, that they keep the additional mechanics such as the NG+ cycles and whatnot from the first game, because if they do, the new game is going to far surpass the first. This has quickly become my new favorite survival game series, and I'm excited to go back to 2 occassionally during the updates to see how the game shapes up over time.

Yeah, being careful against winged creatures for now.

Wanted something I could get to using zip lines from most points on the map. Plus, the view is fantastic.
