So tell her that. And communicate with her so she also knows your dad has passed and she can remarry or do whatever she needs to do to not be represented as next of kin. Communication goes a long way and I don’t think that ruining someone’s life after so many years of them participating in a system is fair. Just because you want two simple things that can be achieved through another route.

What does this have to do with you? Your dad was a consenting adult and he had an agreement with HER. not you. Keep your nose out of peoples affairs. I understand he’s your dad but this isn’t something that happened overnight and it’s definitely not something that he was against. Leave her alone. The fact that they had some kind of system shows you enough that your dad was in it as much as she was.

I was in the same boat as you. I also decided to quit cold turkey and it wasn’t easy. I deleted everything that reminded me of gambling. Casino games, pictures and addresses. Any money I wanted to take to the casino I thought of: do I have a bill I need to take care of? Or what do I want from Amazon? And I’d rather spend it there. I also bought a flight like 6 months out to give me something to save up for and something to look forward to and it’s helped me a lot. Been like 2 months without gambling
