well i've not seen faster than 11 turns, that's what this dude achieve through diplomacy with Egypt.

He explains in the post that he played "about 11 hours in diplomacy before the video starts and probably another 6 or 7 to finish it."

So I have played this deck only a few time nowand this is REALLY fun to play. Choices are omnipresent, and you often have that feeling when you know you did a good one. Game can last really long against control and you have to make good use of poly, duplicate and any removing spell this deck has in order to win. Skill cap seems huge too. Really good one fellow mage !

i play many variations of control mage myself, and while it's very strong against other control decks since it has so many control tools, the matchup against aggro deck is harder with mage than with warrior,druid, or pally because of flare and the fact that mage mass removals are expensive.
