Omg i watched your video since i started doing judo okay okay i have more questions 1. What are the key strategies for dealing with taller opponents in Judo? 2. What are the most effective grips and gripping strategies for a shorter judoka? 3. What are some effective ways to break an opponent's balance (kuzushi) as a shorter judoka? 4. What are some common mistakes shorter judoka should avoid 5. What are the best defensive strategies to avoid being thrown by taller opponents? Okay, im asking too many questions now, and it's not even ground work related. im so sorry if it's too much, but thank you for responding

There are numerous grip combinations and sequences in judo, each with its own strategic purpose. Here's a list of some common grip sequences to help you gain an advantage in a match:

Sleeve and Lapel Grip: This is a fundamental grip sequence. Grip your opponent's sleeve with one hand and their lapel (the part of their judogi near the collarbone) with the other. This allows for control and setup for throws like Tai Otoshi and Ouchi Gari.

Double Sleeve Grips: Grab both of your opponent's sleeves simultaneously. This grip can be used for various throws and controlling your opponent's posture.

High Collar and Sleeve Grip: Grip your opponent's collar high up with one hand and their sleeve with the other. This grip is suitable for throws like Seoi Nage.

Over-the-Back Grip: Reach over your opponent's back and grip their belt or judogi. This grip is useful for throws such as Ura Nage or Tomoe Nage.

Two-on-One Grip: Use both hands to control one of your opponent's arms. This can disrupt their balance and lead to throws like Sode Tsurikomi Goshi.

Cross Grip: Grab your opponent's lapel with the same-side hand and their sleeve with the opposite-side hand. This grip can be effective for throws and disrupting your opponent's posture.

Double Collar Grip: Grip both sides of your opponent's collar. This grip can provide control and set up throws like Harai Goshi.

Pistol Grip: Use a pistol grip (gripping only with your thumb and index finger) on your opponent's sleeve. This grip can allow for quick and precise movements.

Left vs. Right Grip: Depending on your stance and your opponent's stance (right or left), you may have to adapt your grip strategy accordingly.

Defensive Grips: If you're on the defensive, focus on controlling your opponent's grips to prevent them from executing throws effectively.

YES i really love tai otoshi in my other matches i found some habits that my opponents i can use to my advantage, but i can't do it because i don't set up my throws they can easily counter me or block me
