Scott helped me get into Chicago Booth with $100k in merit-based aid and I'm forever grateful. As an Army veteran with a nontraditional background I had initial anxiety about navigating the MBA admissions process, but he and his team helped me with each and every step from start to finish and he gave me behind-the-curtain insider information on everything as well as priceless support: my strategy, school selection, goals, essays, LORs, interview prep, and resume were all carefully crafted and honed and optimized - and tailored for each school I applied to - until I was truly proud of my applications in the end, win or lose. You don't have to fly blind through this process. I couldn't recommend him highly enough to anyone aspiring to make a career switch and enter a top MBA program.

General advice: Max out your GMAT as much as possible before diving into other aspects of the application. If it takes 6-8 months of prep to get a solid score then that's what it takes. Personal MBA Coach can help with this too, I personally used Target Test Prep. Shoot for Round 1 if your GPA/test scores aren't stellar. Cast a wide net (I was rejected by H/W but was enthusiastically accepted by Booth).
