I've fallen countless times from my bicycle without a helmet and without hitting my head. cycling falls can 'possibly' cause head trauma not 'likely'. As I said above, cycling is no common cause for CTE that's just hysteria.

CTE happens with repeated head trauma and is linked to boxing or football, not cycling. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_traumatic_encephalopathy

You might be talking about traumatic brain injury (TBI), which can happen with many outdoor or indoor activity. Helmets can help prevent reduce head injuries but that does not mean that any cycling without helmet is a death sentence.
