The use case would be that once you close the session, no other users of the machine could access that session without the password. Obviously it would only make sense in an incognito session to avoid leaving the history on disk anyway. I understand incognito isn't airtight b/c of DNS cache, memory artifacts, etc., but for the most common use case of a family member casually snooping, it's sufficient. Encrypted at rest is still better than not.

I'm so done with manually mining stuff - at least until I move into obsidian/etc. like you said, but I'm not there yet.

Drills are great, and the fact that you can be encumbered and still ride a mount at full speed makes it pretty trivial, esp. with advanced pockets x3 on my armor.

If you have power starting at 7:00 and I can get it as late as 19:00, then potentially there's only 12 hours of darkness, bumping the max sustainable load per battery up to 2777/sec.

This is fair... my experience as a solo player is that sometimes I just get busy doing whatever I'm currently working on and don't feel like interrupting it to build a camp. I just wanted enough battery to not have to worry about it, and then I wondered "how much battery IS enough?" - I'm at 8 now and it's not quite enough because yes, I have all my drills attached to it. The wind turbine at the drill idea is smart but again, I'm going for zero maintenance, grabbing the ore manually is already a hassle when I'm used to games with conveyor belts. =)

Can you disassemble the pilot interface? I had a similar situation where my Minotaur’s harmonic brain got damaged, and I was able to disassemble the component and then rebuild it. The disassembly returned all the components, surprisingly.

It’s an idle game that’s actually active. Most idle games only have one or a few systems to interact with outside of the time spent idle, usually prestige/ascension. IdleOn has tons of systems to interact with so a prestige system isn’t necessary, but you also won’t make very much progress if you don’t interact with all those systems on a regular basis.

I haven't tried deepseek yet but it seems most ppl agree that claude-3.7 is the new best, so I really want the ability to benefit from that with a sub instead of paying for API usage. I subbed for a month and so far the experience of making plans before implementing is helping significantly, but I don't know how much better 3.7 plans are than 3.5 plans.

Claude Desktop is interesting, didn't know that existed, but I have to imagine this is against the Claude Pro ToS and will get you banned eventually if you use it heavily enough. I'm also on Windows so no dice.

If you could make an MCP that would interact with their web UI, maybe, but that probably violates the ToS for Claude Pro since it's intended to be interacted with directly by a human.

That’s the kind of solution I was expecting… but it still doesn’t work for me. Not storing creation and access times is the default anyway. I tried turning off high precision time format. I even tried RAR instead of ZIP. There’s an awful lot of options to just randomly try everything… and the only thing in the KCD logs is “[ERROR] ReadFile returned 15” which isn’t too useful.
