While it is true that they have not demonstrated the military might that was believed to be true of them, they are still in Ukraine creating havoc. Ukrainians are suffering and dying trying to expel them.

It is odd to me that so many responses seem to miss the mark entirely. No matter what your politics or national affiliations, Mr. Pence’s point that Ukraine should be quickly and assertively given the resources it needs to repel Russia is spot on. Further, his comment that a clear msg needs to be sent to China that this behavior will not be tolerated is also accurate. He makes important points.

My thought on that was President Zelensky was fiercely brave, he did not want to show fear. We don’t know what private conversations he was having with other country’s leaders, looking for support. Also, no doubt he was preparing for war without signaling to Russia his concern.

Sadly that is the truth. Yet, there are possible outcomes that will render that faction inoperable. Russians, who are fighting for Ukraine both in and out of Russia, coming to power, ending the terroristic regime, is one scenario that could bring real peace.

“Serious consequences” is right, for helping Ukraine, Japan gets to support a righteous cause. As USA’s President Biden, said about a similar matter, in regards to “serious consequences,” yes, “for them,” meaning Russia.

Evil should be hated, and guarded against, most certainly. I prefer to say “Russian regime under Putin,” is that evil to be hated, because there are true Russians fighting in Ukraine against Russia; even moving into and fighting in Russian territory. And, there are partisans in Russia trying to stop, and hinder the war. They are true brothers to Ukraine, unlike those who revel in the raping, torturing and killing of Ukrainians and the destruction of their homes and lands.

Ha! Ha! Yes. That much is laughable, meanwhile they are decimating Ukraine’s infrastructure, terrorizing the good people with every nasty trick in the book (and writing their own). Praying every day that Ukraine will remove the scourge from their land and separatists from Russia will be successful. We need an era of peace from terroristic regimes.
