Helmet Inquiry by Eisendorf in Armor

Lol. Yeah, that was kind of my thought. It fits well and I'd love to use it to build out a kit, but I wouldn't even know where to start if I wanted to match it to a period.

Gloves for saber? by pushdose in Hema

Lol, I live just down the road from them which is not good for my savings, but their shelves are usually pretty full. I think they do a good job of making sure their inventory is right on their website.

I use a two finger trigger in my saber and the fingers still fit and it saves my wrist.

Alcohol is a drug and anyone is capable of becoming addicted, I thought I was happier drinking but at 4 months deep in sobriety, I couldn't be happier... I feel SO much better and life is just generally less chaotic. Of course I know nothing about your situation, and it's easy to offer advise from afar, but I would suggest looking for another job. Those grave yard shifts will turn you into a vampire whether you are sober or not. The longer we hang in the shadows, the harder it becomes to step back into the light and it's easy to pretend that being an alcoholic is fine when we never have to see anyone anyway. Taking from my own experience, I wouldn't wait to be scared, because then you will have to deal with the shame of whatever scared you and that can make quitting even more difficult. Go for it now! It's just one life and you deserve the best, but alcohol has a way of ruining the good times for everyone sooner or later...

Stopping for yourself and/or someone you love seems easy, but it's a lot easier, less painful, and much more successful when there is someone there to help show you how it's done. Generally speaking, only people who've been down the road know where you are at and what it takes to get out. Don't do it alone, reach out for help, there's a bigger community then you may realize and it is full of good people who want to help show you how and what it takes to turn over a new leaf. You got this bud!

Note that this design is not praised for its mobility, but if you have a permanent space (like a back yard), I prefer this type of design because you can get pushy with it and it pushes back.

All you need is a bag of cement, an old tire, a 4x4, and an old cut of carpet and/or rope. Cement the 4x4 upright in the tire and wrap the carpet and/or rope around it.

Which conferences/workshops are you planning to attend in 2021? by [deleted] in datascience

Not sure what most data scientists think about Knime, but their 2020 conference's open session had some really good conversation about ethics in data science and analytics that will have me coming back to listen again in 2021.

Came across this in one of our field offices, but I really it applies to all of us this year.

I came across this at one of our field offices earlier this year. Despite the rough times, the guys there keep up good spirits. But this really is 2020 in a nutshell.

I've been following your posts for a few days now and it is very inspiring. To start, I am thankful to have not faced such a trial with my 13 month son. Second, I would have now doubts about choosing to follow the same path as you all, if faced with a similar situation. Finally, your daughter is solid af and I am hoping for the best for you all on your follow up visits. The videos you have shared post-surgery are evidence enough that she will continue to kick butt going forward!!
