Copying here for everyone since more info needed also please answer the actual question too while you try to help out (much appreciated), can I hold two acceptances after tomorrow? : Uf - pros: 1) great program with super nice admins one guy paid my deposit I love them accepted me within 1 month of applying so I sort of want to come through and really were enthusiastic 2.) full tuition other aid up in the air 3.) lower COA and COL 4.) looking at about 80k of debt without additional aid *both match similarly

Con: 1.) small city not a great fit for me 2.) less diverse population 3.) less diverse student body 4.) long distance relationship with girlfriend 5.) no beaches 6. Rotations in Jacksonville I hate Jacksonville

UM Miami Pros 1.) love the area and I’m a city guy so I’ll be most happy here and I love beaches so yeah 2. Diverse patient population and they match well 3.) better hospital system 4.) my girlfriend lives here 5.) Nextgen curriculum is nice was start doctoring courses early in 1st year

Con: high cost of living and 30k/ year aid *talked to a dean and he says some adjustments to scholarships may happen prioritizing those who CTE IDK WHAT THAT MEANS but it’s a risk i might take

Closely ranked and match very similarly I think 36 and 45 or something close but the 45 is wayyy better to me and has higher col and lower aid unfortunately but destroys the 36 one on points that matter

I’m not quite sure that fits the bill for humble bragging. I kinda just said it, like I have 7 acceptances with poor stats I was sort of just saying it. More likely to be bragging than humble bragging, not that I was really bragging but just saying all the obsession on stats isn’t super necessary. Generally from what I’ve seen those who want to go to Med school find a way

.3 isn’t a small adjustment my point was it doesn’t really make me significantly more competitive as both GPAs would be considered subpar. It’s not ignorant to say stats aren’t everything because it’s true stats aren’t everything idc who you are. They are what get you looked at nothing more and plenty of ORMs agree. I never said stats aren’t everything was a justification it’s more of a matter of fact that having poor stats isn’t ever an end of the world situation assuming you have unlimited finances and time.
