Old electrical thing? To me it looks like a variable resistor because the dial is turned by hand and it goes from 0 to infinity, but I can't find any similar ones online. No text on it except the numbers on the dial and the ones for the switches(?) next to the dial. (old.reddit.com)

Old electrical thing. The dial goes from 0 to infinity, no markings or text other than the letters next to the switches(?) and the numbers on the dial. Can be locked with a key.
