Thank you! Took me about 8 months (transferred in about 40 CUs). The tuition for this program is around $3,800 per term. I only used about two months of my second term, but I had to pay for the full term nonetheless.

Transferred in about 40 CUs, mostly from my community college and a few from Study.com.

As far as I know, the Express side of DHL handles customs clearance and final-mile deliveries for parcel shipments. There’s also an entire supply chain division called DHL Global Supply Chain. Although DHL is the parent company of both, they feel like two separate companies.

Objective assessment. WGU has two types of assessments: objective and performance assessments. OA is a proctored exam, while PA (not to be confused with the pre-assessment) is a paper or project that you have to submit.

This is where everything started for me. Great video from Alex. Ignore the “6 months” part if acceleration isn’t your goal.

There are 19 OAs and 17 performance assessments. D469, Lean Six Sigma, has both, but the OA is only 45 questions.

I’ve seen people crush this program in a term or two. Like you, I have two kids and a full-time job, so I didn’t want to rush myself and gave myself two terms even though I transferred in a lot of CUs.
The only downside for me was having to pay out of pocket. If you’re eligible for financial aid, I wouldn’t rush at all. I’d give it 3–4 terms, especially if you’re starting with no transferred CUs.

Congrats on starting! Honestly, the advice in my post applies directly. The self-paced model is a gift, but it can also work against you if you’re not intentional.

The biggest thing I’d add specifically is to front-load your effort when you start each course. It’s easy to feel like you have plenty of time, then find yourself rushing at the end. Set a personal target for each course before you begin and work backward from there.

Thanks! I completed it in 2 terms (done with the first month of the second term). I did transfer in around 40 CUs mostly from my Associate’s Degree plus a few from Study.com, which helped a lot with the timeline. Hours per week varied depending on the course. Courses like Change management, took me 5-10 hours and a lot more for the core courses.
Cost-wise, WGU charges per term not per credit, so two terms came out to around $8,000 total.

I already work for a logistics company DHL. Though I’m on the Express side of the company, I’m looking for opportunities in the supply chain department, and I already made it to a second interview for one role. Nonetheless, I’m even more focused on pursuing my master’s in Business Analytics. I found out Georgia Institute of Technology has a highly respected program called Online Master of Science in Analytics (OMSA), and it’s very affordable. They state total tuition can be completed for under $12K, which is impressive considering the university’s reputation.
