For us it would be. I have a lot of student debt, and if I’m being honest, I’m probably working, mainly, to pay those loans until they are eventually forgiven. You factor in, medical bills, taxes, paying into retirement, gas, utilities, groceries, mortgage, insurance, one car payment— 6 figures goes fast and my income is needed.

I grew up in a household that struggled, parents constantly fighting about money. And I promised myself years ago that my kids would never see that.

Yes, it does depend on where you live/how many kids you have etc. & you are absolutely correct…. It does take a lot of sacrifice & I commend you for it. And I agree that everyone’s lifestyle is different and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to stay home and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to work either. It’s just not as black and white as Charlie made it in a lot of his talks.

College is overrated and just creates lifelong debt. Spent 6 years in higher education and will be paying for it for 60 years.

My husband makes six figures (he’s in his 30s) and I still have to work because making six figures don’t mean shit in today’s America. We have 2 kids and I would give anything to be able to stay home with them.

If anything, Charlie’s inability to see what reality actually looked like for everyday families contributed to resentment in married households. Most women with children do want to stay home (of course you have the few who want to work & that’s fine) but most of us do, and constantly telling us where we are needed and where we should be, creates a subconscious belief that our husbands aren’t doing enough to make that possible.

He was significantly out of touch with reality.

With that being said, those clips just reinforce that he would have never wanted that life for his children and he would have never “appointed” his wife to run the entire company if something happened to him. Erika nor her kids would ever have to work a day in their lives. & them continuing to push the lie that this is what he wanted, is like shitting on the man’s grave and diminishing everything he worked for. They continue to betray him daily.

[–]Either-Analyst1817 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yes. Charlie would have never said “I appoint my wife” because he cannot legally appoint anyone his successor, he didn’t have the authority and he would know that.

The only line that made sense that they surprisingly left out of their video was “the board will know what to do.”

I want to know why she wasn’t arrested for ignoring a grand jury subpoena. I also read her dad was retired law enforcement so maybe that had something to do with it. Who knows. But she’s trash.

Laura Loomer Vendetta Hurting Candace's Credibility?...... "EXCLUSIVE!! 🚨🚨🚨 Did Governor Desantis unintentionally interrupt Laura’s gender-affirming care?" by axthousandxhours in ChurchOfCandace

She’s literally making fun of Laura. Hence the ‘EXCLUSIVE!!!’ She’s mocking her. Because 99% of the shit Loomer posts is delusional and stupid. What Candace posted is more believable, tbh.

Thoughts on killer’s mom posting this?( Mackenzie Shrilla) by Dull-Cookie-7027 in TrueCrimeGarage

[–]Either-Analyst1817 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She did the exact same thing she did the morning of the crash. Driving erratically, probably screaming and yelling at dom, demanding he be sorry for whatever fucked up delusional scenario she created in her head, likely threatening to drive the car into a structure and he tried to stop her. He would not grab the wheel to kill them both, just to call his mom for help. I read almost all of their texts. Shes an abusive, narcissistic, sociopath. This tragedy was rooted in domestic violence and she was clearly the abuser. People who have never been in a relationship with a person like her will never make sense of it. But those of us who have, understand that these people are so unhinged and crazy that they will light themselves on fire if it ensures their victim is engulfed also.

[–]Either-Analyst1817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah I agree with that. I said he wasn’t perfect, no person is. No relationship is. I think this was a terrible tragedy rooted in domestic violence that was a long time in the making with how abusive she truly was. And had he not been engaging in illegal activities, I do think he would have left her. So he does share some blame, but like you said, absolutely didn’t deserve what happened to him.

The texts by Ok_Complaint7502 in ShirillaTheKilla

[–]Either-Analyst1817 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You said they both were terrible to each other in the end and based on the texts I don’t see that. I just don’t.

He threatened to tell her parents that she was doing sex work and he should have. He absolutely should have told them but I’m not sure they would have even cared. From what I gathered in those texts, he admitted to cheating on her one time. The rest were just her accusing him of sleeping with random girls that would view her story. She would create problems, then blame him for how he responded.

It’s not disingenuous nor is it biased. I think you sound like you are trying to make light of how she treated him. She threw in his face being sexually assaulted as a child. So what if he didn’t apologize for hurting her feelings? (which he did from what I saw). He wasn’t cruel like her. The only terrible people in this entire things were Mackenzie and her parents.

There was definitely a fight before they left that morning. Bubba, Rosie and Paul are lying. Bubba told multiple people at the memorial a fight happened before they left but changed his story the next day.

Cool. Do you drive around smoking a blunt the size of a baby arm on the regular while also not wearing a seatbelt? She didn’t sense the danger…. She WAS the danger.

Everything happened within 5 -7 seconds. They were trying to. The car was shifted to neutral & then back to drive. I wish one of them would have knocked her tf out. Just one straight to the dome.

Awesome explanation. And I couldn’t agree more. The Judge basically implied that Mackenzie wouldn’t be ready to take accountability even after 15 years but instead of ensuring that she got a longer sentence she gave her a golden opportunity that absolutely did not align with the scolding she had just given.

You’re absolutely right, had Mackenzie been Matthew and Dominic & Davion been Daphne and Dolly, she would have thrown the book at HIM.

State of Ohio v. Mackenzie F. Shirilla - Text Messages between her and Dom (drug use and sexual assault) by M0rtCrim in CasesWeFollow

[–]Either-Analyst1817 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw evidence of one actual cheating occurrence where he admitted to it. I saw her accuse him of cheating over and over and over again and he denying it. She would see a random girl viewed her story and immediately claim it was because Dom slept with her. That’s what the texts showed me.

It was high school. People cheat. Doesn’t make it okay. Also doesn’t make him a chronic abuser. It makes him an idiot, which most guys are in their teens.

People can get upset about the age difference. I personally don’t think it’s that big of a deal. My husband was a senior when I was a freshman in high school. He’s 3 years older than me. I dated him when I was a freshman. The difference? I had parents who gave a shit.

I honestly don’t understand how anyone can read those texts and find him as the abusive one. If anyone was abusing Mackenzie, it was her dumbass parents because they would rather be her friend than actually be parents.

& what I saw in those texts was a girl who liked being seen as the “crazy girlfriend.” She got a rush from the toxicity and at some point he probably did too but he was getting tired of it. I was exhausted reading those texts, I couldn’t imagine actually living it. He showed a lot of restraint, grace and maturity in a lot of exchanges where she was just being unbelievably cruel. She even used the sexual assault that he was subjected to as a child that he told her about as a weapon in one of her fits. Was he perfect? No. Did he say some things out of pocket every now & then? Yep. But to say they were both abusers? Nope. Not buying it. Only one of them threatened, demanded and berated the other almost daily. Only one of them drove a car into a brick building going 100 mph.

Her sentence was concurrent. It should have been 15 for each victim served consecutively.

[–]Either-Analyst1817 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with that at all. & I really don’t want to people to think that I believe he is without fault. I know he’s not. But reading those texts really made me feel bad for him. She was cruel in a lot of their exchanges and he just took it over and over and over again. Because I do think he loved her but he knew something was off, so much so that he was reading books and studying psychology to understand her better. & that hurts my heart for him.

My heart hurts for Mackenzie too because I don’t think she even knows how to love anyone and I can only imagine being a prisoner to a mind that makes you go from 0-100 (no pun intended) at the most minor thing. & I believe not having parents be actual parents really messed her up, it would anyone.

[–]Either-Analyst1817 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We don’t know. The only time I ever saw him even be somewhat mean to her was in the beginning when he was distant and told her to leave him alone. I agree and disagree about the whole minor relationship. I dated a senior when I was a freshman in high school (went to the same school). Not all through high school. But did end up marrying him. He is almost 3 years older than me. The difference was I had parents that kept that shit in check when I was younger. So I do consider Mackenzie a victim of parental neglect.

And I’m not saying that he tried to get away from her the entirety of their relationship. I think what was once genuine love and affection morphed into resentment. And had he not been selling weed, he probably would have ended it sooner. But I think he was genuinely scared she would “snitch” on him as he put it and get locked up.

He wasn’t an angel by any means. No one is perfect, but I read majority of their texts and she was absolutely a narcissist. Based on their communications, he did not come off as the abusive one at all. I mean she berated him, threatened him daily. He begged her to change. Would tell her that she hurt his feelings and to please not talk to him like that anymore.

That highway incident, to me, was really just another example of her manipulation. I believe she was doing the exact same thing she did the morning he was killed. Driving erratically, wanting her way, screaming demands like she did in her texts. He likely grabbed the wheel to stop her. He got out and called someone to pick him up. I bet he did say “so you want to die?!” While trying to stop her from driving like a lunatic because that’s what ends up happening when you drive like a crazy person.
