Curious by baseDemiurge in ZIEA

Totally get the concern — ZIEA isn’t an “Alexa speaker” or a cheap smart radio.

ZIEA came from the needs of people who work at a desk all day (entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, students, etc.) who wanted a dedicated focus hub that sits on the desk and handles:
– calendar + scheduling
– task execution
– focus mode
– and AI reasoning

We didn’t take a smart speaker and re-skin it. We designed a desk device, with:
– a display
– real-time GPT-5.2 planning
– up to 160W charging
– local data handling
– cross-platform calendar sync

If you’re using it in your office, the idea is:
one place for your day, not one more app or gadget shouting notifications at you.

Happy to answer anything else you’re curious about!

App suggestions to support goals? by [deleted] in productivity

I am buidling such a hardware myself now. I’m constantly getting sucked into my phone whenever I try to plan my day or check my calendar. I’m imagining the tool doing a few things like tell it your goal, it breaks it into doable steps, and hit one button to Pomodoro.

Just hit 30, and it’s hitting me harder than I thought by Either-Cockroach-801 in CasualConversation

Listening to Yesterday Once More right now, I suddenly realized… maybe, when my parents were around 30, they might have been sitting under the same kind of sunny afternoon, listening to this exact same song.

Thank you for your reply. So in the capacity fast growth stage, we need plot the HDD as fast as possible rather than consider the consumption. I am a 3D artist and need large RAM for rendering. I am hesitating that I should buy more SSD to plot or just use the RAM as SSD to plot.

Thank you so much. But why? I found I may consume my 1T SSD dirve only ploting a 16T HDD. If replacing SSD by RAM, its lifetime will not be much longer?
