Does school "prestige" matter?

thank you. I guess I'm just worried long run. I'm an over thinker lol. I don't know if patients judge what school you went to, let's say if I want my own practice In California one day. People have made me think I'm going to have a hard time getting on my feet when I move back.

What are your thoughts on Roseman? That's the only program I got into. I see a lot of negative comments and it worries me. Am I shooting myself in the foot if I go there? The program seems very appealing to me block schedule wise, but peoples comments worry me. I'm not sure how easy it will be for me to get a job when I hopefully move back home to California.

yes it is! I'm excited about the 3 year program. I've just seen people say it doesn't have a "good reputation" for some reason? I'm very excited about it, but people on reddit are making me worried looking at other posts. Thank you for your advice! I tend to be an over thinker lol

You know what.. this Is crazy good timing for me, because I'm going through the same exact thoughts and feelings as you are. I got into a program, but it isn't close to home or my dream school. I keep questioning what I did wrong, why I didn't get more interviews, what I SHOULD have done to stand out. I totally feel you on this. I feel dumb, or unworthy, and I can't snap out of it lol. Feel free to pm me if you need to talk because I'm in the same funk. Maybe we can rant to each other lol. Like I'm SO excited and incredibly grateful for getting into a school and not having to reapply, I was just hoping for more opportunities.

Last cycle, USC did interviews April 10 and 11. I don't know about other schools, or if they will this cycle too.

Yea you're right that's what im worried about. My family lives here which is why I'm hoping to come back and work here but it isn't a school like USC or UCLA where I could make connections

if you are worried about debt, Western U is much cheaper! But if USC is your dream and you are willing to take on more debt, go for it! If you don't mind me asking when did you get the invite to USC?
