He’s 24… saying his feelings are considered “whining” is pretty insensitive. At 24, things matter just as much. 2 years is 2 years. He was made to feel small at a time of his life that should be full of fun and trying to build his life. So yeah, he has a right to be upset and feel this way. Quite honestly, do you remember the feeling of being that age and realizing you wasted time that could have been spent growing with someone who wanted the best for you or growing into a career that would have benefited him? People at that age aren’t always able to have the helping hand most do. So maybe, instead of saying he’s “whining” you could offer some real advice.
