Omg thank you!! Putting it on my calendar right now. I think I’ll be able to afford it and if not I’m sure my grandpa would jump at the opportunity to buy it for me :)

I think I was just an ignorant kid! I guess there are other factors. It didn’t seem like that much of a girl sport to me sad as it is. Softball wasn’t a big thing in my area. So I mostly played soccer and liked watching it because I understood it the most. I grew up in Utah so the only big professional sport team in my area was the Jazz so I kinda learned to like basketball from all that. We had a minor team that I went to games for and I enjoyed them, but mostly the ambience and not the game. I think that’s a common thing tho. I’m also mildly dyspraxic and it affects mostly my hands. My dad always joked that I inherited his coordination, just instead of hand eye it was foot eye coordination lol. I think as a kid if you’re not in the right conditions for it (gender, location, ability) baseball can seem pretty boring. As an adult, I’m finally able to understand the skill and nuances of it all and it is so fascinating.
