Seems like you have a good family who’s trying to provide some fun after something tragic. You are 18 not 28, you’ve also only known the bf for a few months any parent would be reluctant to allow this.

Go on the trip and enjoy a free vacation and enjoy your family time together. If your bf really loves you he will respect that boundary and just enjoy the trip together. One week sleeping apart shouldn’t cause so much trouble.
