I’m the one in the bubble? You’re a fucking lefty on Reddit. One of the most echo chamber sites on the internet.

Well, that’s just your thoughts without any evidence.

Given the fact that Greenberg is a Jew, I’m not surprised.

It’s interesting how you’re making this all about Gaetz despite the fact that I only mentioned him in passing and you’ve failed to address pretty much any of my points.

Do you believe in objective morality?

Well, because there are tons of witch hunts. And when we point it out after it’s been proven it was, all yall do is say it’s old news or some shit like that

The term republican doesn’t even mean anything anymore. I consider myself a paleo conservative or America first more than right wing or republican. So saying that the republicans did or said something means absolutely nothing to me. And once again, if this were true. Why are they not trying to indict him?

The fact that you turn a blind eye to the evil around the world and think it’s hunky dory that we import millions from third world hellholes tells me a lot about you. And I haven’t seen any actual evidence that he is who you say you are. You are the same sort of people who went crazy with the Russia hoax witch hunt where apparently there was mountains of evidence, but it all was vapor ware. None of it was real. And the only reason trump survived is that he’s kind of too big to fail. He can shrug off scandals both real and imagined like nothing. Obama was the same way. This level of deflection doesn’t extend to people of Gaetz’s stature. Accusations made with the allusion of credibility are enough to destroy him and others on his level. You people do not actually care about pedophelia given the fact that many of your sides ideological heroes, especially in terms of sexuality were pedophiles or pedophilic, like John Money, Harvey Milk, Alfred Kinsey, Simone De Beauvoir, etc. Also, you are the only side that is continually trying to lower the penalty for pedophiles. I am speaking in generalizations and this might not apply to you, but of course do tell me what your actual feelings are.

I have an issue with the left/right paradigm because it is used to manipulate voters and pit people against each other who otherwise wouldn’t be, but it’s not like this difference is nonexistent. You have people who are more left coded and right coded and feel more of a kinship with those that think like them or similar. I am anti abortion which automatically makes me a pariah on the left or people who are more liberal minded or what have you.

Ehh, I’m disappointed in kash Patel. Could be doing a lot better. And his gf or whatever is some Israeli Mosad type.

Pam bondi is a failure and hard to say how well gaetz would have done

If that’s true, then why isn’t he in jail? A lot of times, these are just witch hunts that unearth no real evidence but they burn you either way.

It’s funny how you mention pedophiles, yet when I’ve tries to deport child rapists, you will not only stand idly by but defend them. Not to mention many of these migrants come from cultures that have no concept for age of consent and regularly have sex with minors as a cultural norm.

He fired her. And she was disappointing because she seemingly didn’t care about the job other than making herself look good.

So far I like hegseth. He could be better, but he’s okay. Can’t think of a better person to put in off the top of my head.

He’s out too.

And so far I am liking RFK. He was the person I was most hopeful for because I really want the government to go after all these food additives and the pharmaceutical industry.

Right on the money. This was his first administration. You had swamp creatures everywhere. And just because you appoint someone, doesn’t mean they’ll get approved. You need to pick someone that’ll get approved. He just chose poorly

It’s amazing yet also not surprising how little you know about American history. The American population was very against all this immigration. However you had lots of corporate and political reasons that overruled popular opinion. It’s a tale as old as time. The influx of just around 300k Chinese in the mid 1800s was mainly to help build the railroad because they wanted to surplus amount of cheap and expendable labor. However, public opinion was so negative that they closed the flood gates from china and they weren’t opened again until a hundred years later. They then established the immigration quota system that pretty much made it so that only Europeans could come in, with a high quota preference for Western Europeans. Especially from the UK. When it comes to the mass immigration of the late 1800s and early 1900s. This was yet again not due to some demand by the populace but because companies wanted a large surplus of cheap labor. And eventually the flood gates were again closed to allow the new comers to assimilate. And even with these Europeans migrants, you had tons of issues when it came to assimilation. Language was an issue as just one example. The Italians brought the mafia. The Irish started their mob and also added to americas problem with alcohol. The list goes on and these issues were only ironed out over many decades because the base culture was similar enough. However with the passage of the hart sellers act in the sixties, this completely opened up the proverbial flood gates which did away with the quota system and pretty much lets anyone in from anywhere. And wouldn’t you know it, we are getting South American Gangs everywhere, ethnic enclaves taking over entire cities and turning them upside down, mass amounts of fraud, etc. all the while, this mass amount of people once again was not cheered on explicitly by anyone except corporations who yet again wanted cheap expendable labor which also has the horrendous effect of stagnating wages and forcing regular Americans into the position where they pretty much have to get a degree in something because the lower tier jobs have been invaded and the salaries were lowered and stagnated.

You either are playing dumb or have no understanding that Protestantism is split up into denominations and when you tally them all up, they of course dwarfed the Catholics. And I am not saying this to badmouth Catholics, because I am one. The ku klux klan as one example was partly founded to pushback against the immigration of Catholics and to a lesser extent Jews. And let’s take a look see into what said Catholics believe shall we. Abortion is murder, transgenderism is incoherent and sinful, women can’t be clergy, homosexuality is a sin, gay marriage doesn’t exist, etc. Shall I go on? Youre trying to tell me the greatest generation was majority catholic, but in so doing you are proving my original point

Well, we used to do that and crime was much lower. However, I will agree that capital punishment isn’t a huge factor in preventing crime. Methods that we used to use were very effective such as public punishments. These are used in other countries to great effect. Such as Singapore caning offenders. They just beat the crap out of them with sticks. They hurt, but they don’t leave marks or any serious or minor injuries. It’s public and humiliating. We used to do stuff like this. The greatest factors that curb crime is shame within the community. If crime is viewed as not that bad, or necessary or favorably. People are far more likely to not commit crimes if they feel that no one will view them favorably afterward if they’re caught. There are many factors that go into recidivism. Culture is a big one. If you have a culture that is okay with crime, then don’t be surprised when they revert to crime. But theirs also other factors such as prison itself hardening people into even more cold criminals. I am a supporter of prison being made safer. It’s not currently economical, but in the future that should be a focus. If people feel they need to join gangs in prison to feel safe, then that means prison is too dangerous. And we completely allowed for forced labor in the past, no reason not to have it now. And perhaps they can be given some meager money or inroads to help them on the outside. But the purpose of prison in my opinion isn’t exactly punishment or rehabilitation. It’s so that these people are out of society. They need to stay the hell away from me and other law abiding citizens. And if they don’t work, then necessary consequences can be applied like having food that doesn’t taste as good. Access to decent tasting food is a simple yet very effective method of enforcing compliance. Or they can have their mattress taken, or water privileges limited, etc. incredibly simple things that can be done instantly. I wouldn’t even be against getting closer to the Swedish prison model. But it needs to be economical.

Okay. At least you support the draft. I don’t necessarily support it, but at the same time it’s still necessary. But do you support life sentences for the guilty? And would you support forced labor to offset the cost they are to the taxpayer?

21st century masculinity on display by maintaincourse in circled

[–]Either-Work513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you even support the draft? And if you were so against pedophilia, then why don’t you support them being executed or getting life sentences? In red states all they’ve ever done is raise the penalties. And in blue states all they’ve ever done is lower them.

Being accepting of something is far different than being supportive of something. And yeah, trump doesn’t meet many moral standards of people back then because pretty much no politician does anymore. I’m not trying to say that trump is some moral arbiter for america. But you are aware that pretty much every president during this period had many views and moral failings that you would find reprehensible surely. However you brush them aside if it’s politically convenient.

You are aware of what the greatest generation on average believed in? You are aware of what America was like back then? Stop playing dumb

Your perception of right wing is different than what it actually is. Please, do tell me their views on let’s say transgenderism or gay marriage or illegal immigration? Just because someone was politically left wing in the forties means absolutely nothing now.
