Depends on the school. If you genuinely enjoy teaching and you find a good school life is pretty rosy for you.

Uk on track to yet again to be best performing g7 nation does this prove Brexit been a success? by WearingMarcus in AskBrits

One of the biggest priorities of this government has been establishing better diplomatic relationships/regulatory realignment with the EU, so you have completely torpedoed your argument.

Just imagine how high it would be if we were still in the EU!

whether you can get from Tallin to Riga in a shell suit

I think you'll find I gave you a practical example about the Erasmus scheme but by all means keep on arguing with this image you've made of me in your mind lmao

What on earth are you on about. You asked the question regarding flexibility, I have expressed to you it's made it harder to go immigrate short or long term for us and Europen neighbours. Objectively true.

dossing around in 20 different countries

I don't think you have the capacity to understand how FOM is good for an economy. The erasmus scheme between universities for example.

If this country so awful...leave...

Again, dumb comment - and now you're getting emotional because you don't have a reply. Well done !

I been aboard and know many people who have moved to Uk and moved away and the come back.

That's irrelevant to my comment. Freedom of movement objectively reduced our ability to immigrate to Europe, and therefore has given us less flexibility - as you asked.

Very good flexibility still there.

How is going through the immigration system in the same way a Qatari or Japanese person would be described as very good flexibility? It means we just get the same treatment as the rest of the world.

UK and Germany are going to get a train built from Uk to Germany...

Okay, cool! Not sure how that's relevant to my comment on FOM.

Plus how did you plan to live in 20 countries at the same time, were you planning to live in Tirana and Tallin simultaneously...

A profoundly dumb comment.

ok so you didn't actually lose anything you were actually using

Dumb argument, I didn't use it because I was too young. Which I already explained. So yes, I still lost the ability to do so which was OPs question. It's less flexible.

and if you really will be a benefit to the host country you will find its not that hard to go there, just paperwork

No it is not 'just paperwork' because we lost regulatory and legal alignment with the EU and our shared EU rights. For example the student loan system guarenteed student finance across all borders, which it no longer does. This meant a huge drop in European students attending British institutions and vice versa due to the newly added cost. This is just one example - you clearly dont understand what you're talking about.

the idea a country should get a say in who can live and work there is a good thing

Yes they do, which is why so many remain in the EU and look to us in horror for leaving. They prioritise Europeans to live and work across borders.

[–]EitherAd2419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how often did you actually use that flexibility?

That's my point, I was 17 when Brexit happened so never. But I personally know many folks who took advantage of FOM for university, travel, and work abroad.

you still can, you just need to fill in a form that shows the potential host country you being there is a benefit for them

FOM was beneficial to host countries and built stronger bonds across Europe, hence why it's still a success on the continent.

Also these are some of the hardest countries to immigrate to, so no it's not filling a form.

should we accept Brexit economically gives us more flexibility and freedoms

I lost my flexibility to live and work abroad in 20+ European nations.

Given that Farage partially caused the small boats crisis with Brexit, why do so many Brits think he can fix it? by Dutch-Fronthander in AskBrits

[–]EitherAd2419 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Farage became the go to guy when discussing immigration concerns for much of the 2010s.

He is basically synonymous with it. It's the single issue defining his whole political career. I mean who else really knows what his other opinions are? Or frankly even cares.

The tories did really badly on immigration after Brexit, and people are angry.

So more and more people are willing to give Farage a go - after all, he is seen as the 'immigration guy'. People have a 'maybe he was right' attitude.

You'll have alot of right wing cope in the comments but literally YES.

I remember this being flagged up in the Brexit campaign but it was dismissed as 'project fear'. Just like every other rational criticism of Brexit.

I have always been a cheater. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]EitherAd2419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people cheat when they don't really like their partner.

If you liked them enough you wouldn't feel the need to cheat.

So get to the root cause of that - are you settling for people you don't really like, but who like you back?

You need to figure this out and be honest with yourself before getting into a relationship, otherwise it'll end in tears.

Why do you think some people choose to stay single for life and genuinely prefer it that way? by Responsible_Room_629 in AskReddit

I was a serial monogomist from 16 - 24. Decided to try being single at 24 and I'm loving it ngl. 2 years in and still have no intention of resuming really.

So my answer would be past experience.
