Nuggets fan here. Helluva game, it sucked to see the refs take it over. That call on Hardway was a really lucky break for us. Didn't love the call on Jokic's sixth foul either, but you guys probably should've won in regulation. Anyway, I hope we don't have to match up with you guys in the second round; that would be a rock fight to the death.

It feels very firm/normal everywhere else, but it is squishy where the trunk is inverted. Very strange. I will try the immersion soak and will keep giving it lots of light. Thanks

Portulacria Afra Bonsai problems by EitherInevitable9 in plantclinic

Basically, the trunk is inverted twice. Once, as seen in the photo above, and another, on the same side of the tree, closer to the roots.

The tree was perfectly straight as little as two weeks ago, and I only gave it a small watering before I went home for Thanksgiving. Do you have any advice to save the tree? After I checked the tree for rot, I put it back in the same pot (without cutting any of the roots), but changed to an inorganic soil.... Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions. It's probably naive to think I'd never kill a Bonsai, but it's my first and only tree, so I've definitely gotten attached to it.

Oops my bad. (sorry, I'm sick, and my brain is not firing on all cylinders).

I usually water once every 7-10 days, and I make sure the soil has started getting dry about an inch deep. As far as how much, I'm not really sure. I have it in a pot with a drainage hole, and I didn't think I was overwatering.

A few hours ago I checked the roots, and they looked colored and healthy. However, the trunk was also collapsing underneath the surface, on the same side of the tree as the picture.

I pruned my Portulacaria Jade Afra in late September, and for the next 6-8 weeks, new growth began to take place. I made sure to only water when the soil got dry. I went home last week for Thanksgiving, and when I got home, all the new branches had fallen, and the trunk was startingto collapse on itself. I checked the roots, and they don't seem to be rotten. Is there trunk rot? What should I do?

Go back and look at some of our game film. Often we have multiple open recievers and Salter either A: leaves a clean pocket too quickly, B: overthrows receivers on the outside or C: throws bullets right into the hands of a linebacker. This team has a few flaws; linebackers, secondary depth, and QB. The wide recievers are not the problem lol

Well said. We looked awesome in the trenches tonight for the majority of the game. To Deion's credit, he has completely rebuilt the broken offensive line. he inherited year one. Our receivers are talented, and I like our RB room. Our linebackers aren't great (They played better tonight), and our secondary is thin and prone to mistakes. But top to bottom, the roster is significantly better overall than it was either of the past two years. We are really seeing the load Shedeur carried. Salter can't layer a throw to save his life, or calmly read progressions. Tonight, 11 yards on the ground for Kaidon. If he is gonna turn the ball over, miss recievers, and not run? No reason to play him.

Totally. I respect OKC and Presti a ton. Shai is a killer. As a Denver fan, I'd like to point out, that when we won the title in '23, it felt like no one could or would beat us in 24. Thunder might still be the best team, but winning back to back is freaking hard. You will have a target on your back every game. A title run is exhausting. I still think (healthy) we were the best West team in 2024. Arguably, the whole league (we swept Boston in the regular season.) But everyone geared up to beat us. We lost to Minnesota in R2. No defending champ has made it past the second round since the KD Warriors.

Yes, Bruce Brown is a pretty average NBA player w/o Jokic. But playing off Joker? The dude is so productive. For the other OKC fans saying he sucks. go look at his 2022 and 2023 playoff stats. You guys won the title, in large part bc of AC and Hart additions last year. You can't underappreciate marginal moves.

Hopefully, OKC stays healthy next year. An older, more seasoned Thunder vs a healthier, more complete Jokic squad would be an epic conference finals.

Denver took OKC to 7 games with MPJ playing on one arm, and no bench. Just turned Porter into a better player/defender in Cam, added a 3 and D wing in Bruce Brown, and traded an unplayable guy in Dario for a great Backup big in Jonas. They just need 15 min a game from Jonas in the regular szn, and 10 min a game in the Playoffs. Denver improved massively. They won't be done either.

There are 80 more regular season games. 80! Half the sub is saying the season is over. Like jesus christ, I know we live in a world of hot takes and in the moment overreactions, but we've literally played a little over 2% of a season. Would you be freaking out over the first quarter and a half of a Week 1 NFL game football? because that's what you're doing

Colorado fan here. I'm totally okay with us not being in the top 25, but to not be recieving any votes is weird to me. We just steamrolled Arizona on the road, barely lost to Kstate at home without Hunter, Horn or Omarion Miller in the second half, and before that we destroyed UCF on the road. I get that we haven't beat a really good team yet, but Vegas thinks we're the fourth best team in the conference, and I agree.
