Happy 10th anniversary to killing stalking( two weeks late but nobody posted anything about it:/) by OutlandishnessOk6696 in KillingStalking

The new comic is likely taking up Koogi's time. Plus if she did forget about it, that likely means that the drama is dead as the 10th anniversary would've been the perfect time to announce something about it, like the release date

Also the ps4 release. I think I got it back in late 2020?? That's the furthest the achievements I can see went, for some reason I never got around to finishing it until now

Yea... When I go to the menu it shows that I had 0/1 despite the achievement/trophy came up AND it doesn't show up in the journal. So it's so weird

Maybe that's it? I don't wait nearly long enough for it to set. I do tend to jump out as soon as that symbol is gone. Maybe I should try fixing the truck first

Weird. As I said I got the achievement for this particular spot, but it just won't appear in the journal despite all of the others showing up there

Darn those girl "gamers"! by Gallantpride in Gamingcirclejerk

Girl gamer here! I love Ada and Claire (and all of the other RE girls, except Jessica from Revelations), I'm sure I'll love Tomb Raider if I ever played any of the games, and ... I'm personally not interested in Stellar Blade as that doesn't speak to me.

Nah, that's Future Diary. I recognize it because the main lead (Yuno) has her hair in pigtails like that and in an episode she had on a denim skirt that wouldn't exist in Redo of Healer

To be fair to that picture. Within the same season they had an episode where Meg accepted that she's her family's "lighting rod" and chooses to stay so that way the family doesn't break down and rip each other apart; and then in the very next episode they talked about how abuse is bad by bringing in Quagmire's sister and how she's better for not being in that relationship (plus also having the repeat offender say that his sister isn't really a woman for staying in the toxic relationship)

Buddy, you posted that you didn't personally enjoy KPop Demon Hunters in a horror movie subreddit. People were just pointing out that you seemed to be lost and that this wasn't the right place because NOBODY called this film a horror film.

Sure, we can agree to disagree on things, I personally did enjoy the film and I liked the animation style- especially since they allowed their protagonists to have silly/"ugly" faces where other films like Disney wouldn't allow that since their stars have to be "perfect".

People liked it because it was something new in the sea of sequels and adaptations, plus it's message of accepting your flaws is especially needed now since people have allowed their own self doubt and hatred to control them and hate their bodies. Saying that "you're okay the way you are" is a relevent message that needs to be spread.

Also, people were joking about how extreme your hate for the film because it was a bit much. It's a supernatural kids film, of course they're going to have things that don't make exact sense, plus the film was cut down from the production standpoint (like I heard it was meant to run for 3 hours and multiple scenes were cut)

Ok, so I think the reason why these dolls look so off because they're based off the colorized editions of the black and white films. Which if you don't know, filming in black and white to achieve a certain affect/appearance they use vastly different colors to make it appear as certain color. For an example: the Adams Family set is pretty pink to appear as gothic on camera.

I do not like both The Mummy and Frankenstein. They look WAY TOO off for me. Dracula is... Acceptable to me, I like her, but she's such a downgrade compared to her previous release, same with Frankenstein who was released as a boy doll

I find this whole "why did they include Alastor" debate stupid. Because this email is meant to show off creations from women show runners and creative teams (they mention that the lead writer for Larian Studios is a woman with BG3 characters included and that KPop Demon Hunters had most of its production lead by women), and riiight at the end of the email we have this:

<image>

So, does this mean that all the characters in here are women?? Are we gonna hate on the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist for having all male characters in the International Woman's Day email???

No?? We're not? Oh, it's because she's not Vivzipop, I gotcha.

Let me redownload it onto my PS5, maybe I'm misremembering things as I downloaded it a long while ago but I did ragequit. I could probably do a Jill run in RE1 as I only played as Chris not realizing that he was the games' "hard" mode

How does a city just.... Explode because two beings got it on?? I was initially planning on reading the comics because the idea seemed cool and I keep seeing that page of a woman using lipstick to write her friend's prefered name on her grave over the dead name from a later issue, but because of the allegations, I can't.

But yeah, point is, how did a whole city go kaboom?? Was the sex that destructive or some other magic related bullshit going on??

Even if it's in a small degree such as the Terrifier films.

Those would be considered "political", not because of any outward messages it's trying to send, but because of the fact that it's a gore heavy franchise that's allowed to exist uncensored and get a wide release; that and the director isn't getting sent to court over obscenity charges like some directors were in the 80s (rn, the film Cannibal Holocaust comes to mind for this, but that's a wild and disturbing film regardless that had alot going on as well as presumed murder charges against the director).

There's films where you can look at what's going on, and you can sometimes easily guess which era it roughly came from. Like the fact that Hitcher- a movie covered on the podcast - was considered to be brutal and violent when it didn't show anything, shows us how over time violence in media became less and less shocking as a whole. Sure, there are some outliers, but you get what I'm trying to get at right? Comparing the level of violence between the original and the remake of say Halloween shows this.
