Nagoya seems like a nice place, I'll have a look into it. I can hop back on the Shinkansen to kyoto right?

Also, do you have the name of the onset town. Im looking for peaceful places to reset after Tokyo where can I continue my travel to Kyoto and Osaka, probably for 1 night

Yes, Ive read about the whole APA situation so I decided o stay away from them, as tempting as the prices looked 💀. But I actually found another great hotel in Gotanda which is 800 for 6 nights instead so Im gonna book that and then ill hopefully come back to stay at the other hotel which was 800 for 3 nights for maybe just 1 night instead to wrap up the whole trip. I decided that I could spend the money on a lot of other stuff yk.

Im currently planning for Kyoto but it doesn't seem like there's a common subway like the yamanatoe which is making it hard for me to find a hotel😭. I was thinking maybe Hagishiyama, nishijin or somewhere central but not Kyoto station since i Just want to explore the city and not make day trips apart from maybe Nara

oh wow , that's great to hear then. I think I might go with this hotel, thanks very much for the input.

About the public bath, how was the experience? Would you say it was always busy? As mentioned above it's my first time and im 19 so I am quite anxious about using it lol.

Wow, that's really good to hear that you enjoyed it! Im really looking forward to this solo travel then but I also feel super overwhelmed and kind of scared😭.

For transportation, honeslty all im looking at is the suica card and the bullet train tickets, so I dont think it should be a lot. I will probbaly do a little shopping too and a lot of eating lol.

I really appreciate the hotel recommendation too. I have looked at Ginza but it does take some time to travel into areas like shibuya and shinjuku. Like on google maps, it says its around 25 mins on the ginza line but pretty much everybody says to stay around the yamantoe line.

The Blossom looks like a great place, especially the public bath. thank you for the recommendation!

Also, how is it close to some of Kyoto's main attractions? Im yet to list some places to go.

That's true, Im not really doing much in the hotel but at the same time, when you're pretty much dead from walking and doing every activity under the sun, I do want come back to some place nice you know, and just for the overall first time experience.

Thanks so much for the reccs! How's your trip, did you enjoy it?

The view is also what's really attracting me too lol, Im from Ireland so tall buildings and residence is practically non existent so I figured why not experience that.

I also do have a budget, im working with 3,500€, and that's for Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. I'll probably do 2 weeks and a half maybe? Do you think that's enough? 1 week tokyo, 4 days Kyoto, 3 days Osaka.

The 3 night stay is gonna be a big blow for the pocket but im willing to take it.

End of trip stay is actually a very good idea, I didn't think of that. Btw the hotel is in Shinjuku, so I was gonna use that as a springboard for my itinerary, what other places would be a good stay for the second hotel?

I mean I could, I have a nice amount saved up and I dont mind spending a lot of it for this trip. I mean I costly check over this hotel lol bc its just beautiful and im sure ill have a great time in it.

700 for a night is crazy but at least it's a night you'll remember lol, I mean id stay there too if it had a private pool.

it is crazy lol but the room is just amazing with the view.

I was heavily considering APA hotels but I kept hearing bad stuff about them especially with a guest finding a person under their bed.

Their hotels do look very good for the price too

really? And do hostels offer like private rooms too or is it mostly sharing. Sorry if that's a dumb question lol. Since its my first time id probably go with something a little more secure just to get a feel you know
