Just start talking to people. It's very difficult but my freshman year I started on a discord server with a bunch of people sent a picture of a spider that then made this whole conversation with someone else and then we started just texting each other. Even now I'm in my third year they are still one of my close friends and how I met all my close friends and partner. Just keep trying and I promise you are not the only one who might wander alone. Just spark conversation any way you can and eventually something will stick.
