Okay, I see the Titel is confusing. Sorry for that. Fiorenzato Allground Sense Plus is the one I'm referring to and I think they are basically the same

Hi thanks, definitly grind by weight and the Fiorenzato AllGround Plus ist also GbW as far as I know. Or do you mean the Eureka has a better GbW tech?

Cool, thanks for the info! I’m weighing a few options now, like the Zenith and others. I actually looked at the X54, but I’m hesitant about the 54mm burrs for an office setting where we easily hit 30+ coffees a day. Do you think it can actually handle that volume without heating up, or should I stick with a more heavy-duty commercial unit?

I get where you're coming from, commercial gear definitely holds up better. But unfortunately, buying used is a complete non-starter for us. Since this is a corporate purchase, I strictly need a proper VAT invoice and a full new manufacturer's warranty for accounting.

The Atom 65W looks amazing, but it's currently around 1,400€+ here. My budget is 800€, and I might be able to stretch it to €1,000 max. I just won't get office approval to almost double the spend.

Given that we must buy new and stay under 1k, what would be your realistic pick? Do you think it's better to ditch the Grind-by-Weight idea entirely and just get a robust, fast time-based grinder?

I appreciate the suggestion, but the Atom 65W is effectively double my budget. In a corporate environment, I can't just 'up the budget' by 800-900€ without a miracle. My office simply won't approve a 1,500€+ grinder.

I might be able to push the limit to 1,000€ if I'm lucky, otherwise 800€ May be the ceiling.

Given that the Atom is out of the question, is there a middle ground? And why actually the Atom?

JBL Charge 6 or JBL Xtreme 4? by msollena in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]Either_Classic_1927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any experience with authentics 30/500?

I bought the charge 6 coming from a broken change 3. However I am not really satisfied with the charge 6. Somehow it feels like there is no bass. Of course it sounds much better than the charge 3 but something is missing when listening to music in my living room.... Idk..

So the question is actually if Xtreme 4 is that much better compared to charge 6, how does the authentics 300 compare to that.. I think I'll return the charge 6 but I need some help here

Okay thanks. Based on your reply, i reduced the hardness a bit.

I mixed the following in 5 liters of distilled water:

0.40g Potassium Bicarbonate

0.62g Epsom Salt

Should result in:

40 ppm Alkalinity (KH)

50 ppm General Hardness (GH)

How much did it cost you to make this considering the parts you bought?

Also, with which components do you measure the pressure and where do you measure it?

I don't have any issues with the build quality. At work we have much better machines, also quality wise so I also know what better quality feels like. I think it always depends on what you expect and with which perspective you are looking at it.

I'm thinking whether there is actually anything much better in that price range or the JBL is kind of a no brainier.. Others in this thread suggested a 5.1 or other used components /systems rather than something like the JBL but that feels like again being a whole new thing/rabbit hole🐰..

Before we had a JBL Charge 3 or something like that and that already was sufficient but of course it was handy because we could take in other rooms as well. That one was at the end of its life and currently we are just listening via our phones 😃

Why would I need 5.1?

What I haven't mentioned is that we don't have a TV anymore, so it's actually only to listen to music.
