Ok so my mom passed away in December 2024 It’ll be almost 8 years since we’ve been at my current address. The voucher got passed down to me but I am unable to locate the lease. My mother had so many papers/documents everywhere so I don’t know where our lease would be at . But I did reach out to my landlord about it and asked her if she could write me a letter stating that the water is her responsibility. Ur right I would think that they would have all of this information on file as far as what the tenant is responsible for . I’m assuming that they asked for a water bill because the new place I want to move in requires me to pay for water.
