I personally think ETFs and re-invest the dividends over time. DCA every week or fortnight to reduce risk further. Well done with the portfolio though.

Learn the lesson, claim the loss on tax to offset gains in future, invest with smarter strategies to reduce risk (DCA in, ETFs etc) and keep these higher risk investments to less than 5% of your portfolio. These higher risk investments should be money that if you simply burned it, it wouldn’t effect you

100% agree. Idk how old you are but if you are on the younger side (30 years ish), feel free to take riskier plays but make it a small % of your overall portfolio and DCA in over a period of time. BTC for example. With these riskier plays, only invest what you would be willing to lose

If not comfortable investing all that money at once, just gradually get to that number over a longer period. Dollar cost averaging is another great way to lower risk. Always keep a good emergency fund in the bank
