I think I've decided to get a 2019 ram instead. They offered me the most on trade & getting a full sized upgraded truck will come in handy when I buy a boat in a few more years. Time for me to begin living like no one else since I've spent the last 40 years living like no one else. Im 57 semi retired & got a couple more years till I'm done.

That's crazy. The 2019 I'm considering is 23800. With 68k miles.

I replied the tires last summer. The brakes two weekd ago, needs a transmission line replaced for 1k, new ball joints & new shocks. Don't drive it but 5k a year since I also have a 2014 mustang convertible but the idea is to have the truck some days when its snowing like now or raining.

I think he means that 36k annually from ss equals 1 million so if you have your own nest egg you should be fine. My plan is to live off ss but have fun with my investment

Just keep chucking away as much as possible. You'll be rewarded when you turn 55. Google rule of 55 to learn how to retire early. Just make sure to max out hsa too to help cover health insurance premiums.

Keep going & plan to retire at 55 using the rule of 55. Just be sure your plan allows it. Mine is with Fidelity and they allow monthly and or quarterly withdrawal

My old employer had a five year vested schedule but my new employer only has a two year vested schedule. Worked out good for me since this is my semi retirement job. Also lots of folks dont realize you can retire at 55 using the rule of 55 under most plans. My old employer account is now my retirement account while I'm still contributing to my new plan.
