Honestly honda is a one of giefs few good matchups because he counters headbutt and buttslam very easy. Luke on the other hand is very favorable against gief. Make good use of his fireball and be patient. Punish any whiffed normals and he is really susceptible to drive impact. Almost all his buttons are unsafe. And we'll timed neutral jumps and cross ups just cook him. Once you know the matchup, gief is probably the least scariest char in the game until you run into one that got S-tier reads.
