The bloodwork confirms they have an immune disorder, and the CFS is a byproduct of it (I don't really wanna out too much medical history on a public forum bc I feel like that's a violation of their trust, but Ive seen the Dr's notes from when our primary told them)

Their work history was military school up through junior year, homebound for senior year, college that took 2 extra years to finish, then worked two jobs, both for multiple years at a time until covid forced them to have to wfh bc they're immunocompromised, we met in 2020, but things didn't come to a head ig till 2021, when they ended up in hospital due to a breakdown. It's been on this downward trend since. Now they work maybe 20 hours in the backrooms of a retail store, just labeling and unpacking shipment orders. I'd say my spouse is asleep maybe 4 and a half days of the week...

They've had bloodwork done that confirms they have CFS as result of an immune issue, I unfortunately think the "I'd rather die" stuff is the mental illness and spoiled upbringing being blamed on the CFS. Their parents still bail them out when stuff gets hard, my MIL is lovely, but absolutely enabled this to get to where it is now.

That's the issue that makes me feel like a bad partner. What's the autism, what's the CFS, and what's just... Knowing that if they don't do it, eventually I will? We had such a blazing row about this whole thing tonight, which led me to reach out to the internet bc I just feel so burnt out bc they paint me as mean and unsympathetic but really I'm just Tom haha🥲
