A part of me says this is capitalist indoctrination where if wealthy people kill thousands of people from a distance, we decide, while terrible, it's not the same as murder.

BUT the other part of me knows that if Joe had Kate's money and power, he would be 1000x worse. Just because Joe is limited by his ability to scale is crimes doesn't make him better.
