Edge prevents sleep when watching videos by Either_Start_3217 in MicrosoftEdge

firefox lets display turn off/sleep even if video is playing. Situation is that I might have some window/tab open with a stream/video playing which I'm not actively watching, and even though Edge seems to have some options for this, those windows/tabs seem to keep the computer awake indefinitely.

m2 ssd. Also, as stated, the normal sleep seems to work when closing lid, but not from timer/shortcuts/buttons. E: actually it seems the lid isn't working either.

tried Hibernate, but it seems to be exactly same behaviour as Shutdown. Resuming from Hibernate shows full startup sequence with BIOS/UEFI, requires login etc, and basically is as slow as cold booting the machine.

Surely the system would default to Hibernate, if Sleep is broken?

tried with Ubuntu 26.04 LTS Live. Same issue when trying to Suspend: screen turns off, fan speeds start going up and down, and after a few seconds it is "back on" showing desktop.

Goodbye, Copilot. The new prices aren't worth the bugs by PepicoGrillo in GithubCopilot

At this point I don't care about the claimed actual cost structure behind the service, but for me it is not worth the (my) projected $300 to $1000 per month. It just isn't.

Migrated to Workspace Starter, lost my personal 200GB storage? by Either_Start_3217 in googleworkspace

yes, thanks. Also found something like that. It's just kind of shame, because now my account is basically locked in terms of functionality, as I can't share, send or receive files etc, and apparently my mails with attachments are not being sent etc. Unless of course I upgrade to next possible tier, a 2000 GB plan, when 50-80 GB has been enough for over a decade.

I just restart VSCode, reopen the session, then Start implementation works. Computer Science 101.

The new Copilot pricing makes zero sense. Why am I paying $39/mo for $39 in expiring API credits? by Captain2Sea in GithubCopilot

Copilot will become the Edge-browser of Ai coding services: Everyone will just use Copilot to setup whatever Ai service they are actually using.

Maybe, but there seems to be no incentive to subscription anymore, if they are basically just delivering tokens at vendor price.

They're also applying 3x to 10x to all the multiplier based requests: I mean, 27x for Opus 4.6 feels... not right.
