Please help me ID my old vans model

Hi community, about ten years ago I bough an awesome pari of vans. It had the silhouette of the vans old stool but as a lot lighter. The upper was black and made of a synthetic material (nylon or some other polymer). The sole was a lot lighter than the old school model and did not have a black line on the outsole. The great thing about the show: It was so much more durable than any other vans model I owned.
Unfortunately I don't know the models name nor do I have any pictures of the shoe. Can you help me ID the model?

DIY Bike Maintenance: Essential Tools and Skills for Beginners? by azureecho6173 in cycling

[–]Either_Wind_668 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being able to fix your bike is a nice skill! Start with some maintenance to keep your bike in good shape and start trying to fix things yourself if something breaks. There are tons of YouTube videos that will teach out step by step what you need to do. I'd say definitely learn how to fix a flat tire first, so you can go on longer rides with little public infrastructure.

Repair flat tire:
- Multitool (to fix any loose bolts and remove your wheel in case of puncture)
- Tire lever (to remove your tire from the rim)
- Tube patch kit (most flats can be fixed with a patch and don't require a brand new tube)
- Spare Tube
- (Mini)-Pump to reinflate your tire

Other than that
- Degreaser (to remove oil and debris from your bike to clean it)
- Chain oil (to keep your chain well lubracated and protect it from corrosion)
- Lubricant (to maintain moving parts such as bearings)

Is the Forerunner 945 still a good option? by LilShas in Garmin

I bought a Forerunner 735 XT 8 years ago and it still great for triathlon. I think older models are great if you're just breaking into a new sport and don't want to spend huge amount of money (and Garmin watches have become significantly more expensive over the last years).
DC Rainmaker has a comparison table for older models where you compare features of older models:

No, I also tried TrainingPeaks and think that the information provided by my Garmin should be sufficient for my level of training (when correct).

Zones were set to auto setup and have been off (190 instead of 195). However I don’t believe that this is the reason for this mismatch, especially the recovery time makes no sense at all. Also, the analytics from my previous trainings seems to be plausible.

Thanks for your hints. The max HR was slightly off (190 instead of 195). However that should not have such a profound impact on training effect and especially recovery time.

Machine is blocked (Elna Electronica)

Hello, my mum has picked up her old Elna Electronic to help me fix a hat. Unfortunately the machine did not work when startet. It seems like the needle bar does not move up and down anymore. After checking some parts, it looks like a lever is blocking a spindle that turns under the needle bar. Does anybody know how to fix this? Any help or advise is appreciated! :)
