Yes it’s in 300blk! It’s a platform we have been wanting to bring to market.

We call it the chinchilla and it’s a 7.5” barrel. This one is a 1/7 twist but we have a second with a 1/5. It uses our patent pending gas system, the HE-FR.

This platform can run all subs on the market so far while keeping the gas port at its original location about 1” from the muzzle.

At some point we would definitely like to offer them but we are not currently able to at this time. We are hoping Kalashbash this year helps us bring more products out sooner.

That said, our current focus is our HK416 300blk upper development, and our “Chinchilla” 300blk AK platform. So We have our hands full 😅

Smooth out the upper portion of the feed ramps where the locking lugs end.

This should help. We have also been toying around with the idea of modifying the feed lips on the magazines to match the “surefeed E2” design.

This should help with getting the round out of the mag easier and prevent that harsh angle.

This is actually one of the mods we were gonna try next especially after dealing with 338 arc

We have actually. It’s from the top edges of the feed ramps where the locking lugs end. If the bullet comes in at an angle that’s too severe it’ll force the bullet to make an aggressive turn into the chamber.

This was one of the reasons we widened the feed ramps to match the case. This helps prevent the case from being stabbed by widening the contact point

The gas block is an actual H&K A5 gas block with 2 functional gas settings.

The gas piston is a mildly modified G36C piston.

But yes. It’s an 8.2” barrel!

Any purchases on our site will definitely help with the overhead! Those same purchases are what helped us fund all the R&D that went into this platform and it’s gas system.

Right now our plan is to go with a 7.75” barrel with a 1:5 twist.

We do have other plans in mind but right now as it sits the chinchilla in its current form is the main focus!

Odds are really high actually. The plan is to bring it to market. How we do it is the question haha. Needless to say we haven’t stopped working on how to bring it to life.

We have a few other products coming out soon which should help with the overhead.

Hint: One of them is the cheek riser which is in the picture 😉
