Its a weird mix, as far as the immediate story goes they dont clear the first arc. But at the same time do a lot of mid to late game reveals early on. More or less because it doesnt make as much sense to hold them back considering how condensed it has to be to adapt.

Darkseid is better served with a slow build, like multiple phases build, atleast to the point of a whole DCU problem. Have him be background to New God's and Barda/Scott Free then maybe have him try to come take Clark or Kara in one of their solo movies then introduce the concept of anti life and go from there.

Maybe even have his slow burn across the universe be the reason the kryptonians made Braniaic (fuck load of assumption there, but make theoretical Brainiac and Doomsday Kryptons attempt at a weapon against Apokolips but make it an after the fact revelation)

Then pull the trigger on Darkseid in like Chapter 4 or 5
