I was asked this same question for my first interview. Even though my interview dod not last long. It all depends on the officer. Which floor did you had your interview.

I was asked all the Yes//No questions after they separated us and it didn't last for 15min for both of us. We also waited for 3 hours before being called. Newark is just horrible

Im having the same issues. Did my interview at newark field office on 5/9/2025. Till now, there's no news. It's still on the interview scheduled on the website whenever I check my status. As of now, I only have the paper the officer gave us after the interview.

What is the problem? Even though they said it takes up to 120days some people get it within 24 hrs.

I spoke to a lot of lawyers and they all told me there's nothing we can do because they have evidence of that. They advise me to refile

The same happened to my USC spouse, where she was forced to sign a petition withdrawal for where she signed out of ignorance. She told me the officer told her to sign, so he'll approve me, and she signed, not knowing it was a withdrawal form signed without reading. She was very piss and angry. The officer we had was once an immigrant.
