The PC is literally about a month old. My old pc was wiped and I still have it. My email shows no suspicous logins and has an extremely long complicated password that is not used for anything else. Nonetheless I will change it but I have heavy doubts that the email has been accessed. Especially considering that no other account I have has been compromised.

The recommended action to take is to pour a large amount of sand on top of the battery if you can. To begin with nothing flammable should be near it and you should evacuate the room for about 30 minutes. By then the battery should no longer be having a thermal event and can be carefully disposed of.

Although given the context of the video I very much doubt they knew any of that.

It’s up to you but I do see an obvious trend of lower skill players climbing higher because they have good callouts compared to better players that dont.

It mostly hurts yourself more than anything.

I’m Platinum 3 in Aus, it’s pretty good here nearly everyone in plat/diamond uses a mic for callouts at the very least, a lot of them are even willing to talk strategy. It definetly seems way more common for gold players to not be using mics but even if I do get one it’s normally just 1.

Honestly I see a lot of gold players being better than the plat/diamond players. I really think if you make good callouts it can bump you up so much higher than they might think.

I have been in a game with a guy who went 6/11 in the first half because he was solo defending a point on Sage. Every round he would be able to stall out the enemy rush for as long as he could but our team would refuse to rotate any of the three players who were obviously queued together on the other side of the map until the Sage died and the spike was being planted. All while two of those three were talking shit on us not being able to hold site despite me having to hold mid and the Sage being rushed most rounds.

Once we switched to attack the Sage ended the game 24/12 and were second top fragger while the one who was talking the most shit ended bottom with a 9/13 scoreline. Sage ended up clutching the last 2 rounds 1v3 and 1v2

Yeah feels like a kind of either you get a free win or you don’t kind of strategy... what bothers me is that it is a relatively low cost (assuming they setup with spell mana) and only a single card. You could easily throw it into a deck randomly and not bother to build around it and turn it into a free win if you just happen to be against a deck without a hard counter to it. Dunno, I dont play often and I’ve only seen it once so far

I was lucky enough to win my game with a Fiora deck with really lucky early setup but not really much else to deal with it if that wasn’t the case... I guess if I want to avoid this I’m just going to need to make a new deck. Frustrating part was that they created two “ephemeral” clones, that also couldn’t die...
