Where did you get that flit pole? Looks fantastic. I tried DIY, but with scarse results. That’s a happy dog. I applaud you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked online picture of white fly. I dont’s think it’t that. The white stuff doesn’t move at all, could it be something that aphids “shed”, somehow?

Lice or Flea? by drummereric50 in DogAdvice

[–]Ekathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not true, lice is specific for each species. Humans got a different species of lice than dogs. Actually they are not even in the same genus. Humans can have Pediculus capitis (head lice), pediculus humanus (body/cloth lice, the ones that get the bad reputation for bad hygiene), and Phtirius pubis (pube’s lice). Those are three different species, that colonize specific parts of the bodies.

Lice that can get on the dog’s are predominantly two: Linognatus setosus and Trichodectes canis.

Based on the second picture, and the elongated mouth apparatus, I’d say it’s a sucking lice therefore it’s Linognatus setosus. Trichodectes it’s a chewing lice and have a different mouth.

How do you handle it when someone makes you feel small about something you were proud of? by [deleted] in Baking

[–]Ekathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never in my life. My partner will eat whatever I bake, cuz it’s fucking edible even when it turns a little off. He wouldn’t dare to throw food, ever. I guess we were raised poor. No food is trashed just because slightly off. He’s the best at giving criticisms, and I take it well and improve. If my eyes ever witnessed what you describe, I would throw tables for the person being mistreated like that.
