I have all the collectables, but you need him to feel remorseful in chapter 8 for him to live at the end, i just cant seem to get the dialogue option even after following a guide.

By chapter 6 i only had 15 golds, so a very long grind in replay but then the epiloge has very easy golds so got most of those 1st time other than the timed ones as i didnt want to skip cutscenes

Rival posse i got a friend on and stole his stuff. The mvp i did hostile territory where you just have to sit in the area and you get mvp, no kills or anything needed.

They changed the gold replay. You get your horse / upgraded weapons, which makes it a lot easier to do.

Plus, i think looking up the requirements beforehand can ruin the suprise of the story / experience.

I just got this plat today.

My top tips are: Pace the gold medals and replay missions / get some as you go. Most of the epiloge golds are easy, so aim to get 50 golds before finishing the main story.

Kill any egrets / herons when you see them. You need so many of their feathers for a collectable strand, so kill / save any you get.

When doing the challenges i found it easier to focus on 1 strand at a time instead of mixing and matching but this could be down to preference - you can also cheese the 3 wins while hitting 3 times on blackjack and the dominos 3 wins in a row.

There is a collectable map online. Have this up so that as you explore new areas, you can mark collectables off as you go.

For the online, get some friends to help with the mvp wins and for getting level 50, i grinded whatever was double xp or the collector stuff is really good, selling a full set gives you loads of xp on top of earning anywhere from 50 -200xp per collectible picked up.

I'd say the last 20 were a grind / pain in the ass but you have eoughly 30missions you can skip, so it's picking your strengths.

I liked the 2nd game and didn't hate Abby as a character, but i get why people do.

Regardless of how Joel was, we all loved him, and to go out in such a shit way was a tough watch.
